When you start to feel a sore throat coming on, gargle with a mixture of salt and warm water. (Wifey)

Honey and lemon juice in hot tea is good for a sore throat. (Amy)

Lots of fluids. Plus, sucking on things such as lollipops, popsicles, and candy. (Mark)

Whenever you feel the first signs of a sore throat, earache, cold, flu, or cough coming on, pour about half a capful of hydrogen peroxide in your ears. Keep it in your ear until the fizzing subsides then do the other ear. (If fizzing doesn't subside to your satisfaction, you can repeat that ear first.) This will help you get well fast! (Lisa)
