When camping over an open fire, coat the bottom of your cookware with dish soap. The soot will wash right off when you are done. (Brian)

______
When going to clean your camping cookware that is blackened use fine steel wool. This won't scratch if you are gentle with it and they look like new! (Jess)

______
When camping in the great outdoors take along a couple of the "instant heat" packets fishermen slip into their waders.
