When camping over an open fire, coat the bottom of your cookware with dish soap. The soot will wash right off when you are done. (Brian)

______
When going to clean your camping cookware that is blackened use fine steel wool. This won't scratch if you are gentle with it and they look like new! (Jess)

______
When camping in the great outdoors take along a couple of the "instant heat" packets fishermen slip into their waders. Slip one into the foot of your sleeping bag to keep your toes and feet toasty all night long. These packets are sold in any sporting goods store and cost ranges between $1.00--$2.00. (thenest)
