Tips to remove Stickers and Sticky Labels

Finger Nail Polish Remover will work to remove sticky labels. I use it all the time to remove price stickers on the bottom of shoes. (Lynn Reid)

Apply baby oil to the sticker and let it sit for a while. Then use a nylon scrubby to rub it off and wipe clean with a cloth.

You can use lighter fluid to remover stickers from glass objects. Just be sure to wash the area with soap after.

Eucalyptus oil is great for removing stickers off anything. (anon)

Remove sticky labels with anything greasy. Cooking oil, margarine, mayonnaise, peanut butter, etc. Apply to the label or adhesive and let sit. Wipe off with window cleaner. (Anon)

To remove pesky stickers- i.e.. price tags etc. .. run a hot hair dryer over the sticker for 20 - 30 seconds and peel away should remove the sticker cleanly with no residue. (chris) A dab of WD-40 will easily remove stickers or price labels from glass, including crystal. (Darcy)
