Tips To Keep Candles From Sticking

Before putting a new votive candle in a container, especially an odd shaped or glass one put a little water in the bottom. It will keep it from sticking to the glass as it melts and can be removed very easily. Just use a butter knife along the edge and it will come out. (csracm)

Before burning votive candles in votive cups, place a few drops of water in the cup. Doing so will make it easier to remove the left over wax.
