I clean my diamonds with 2 denture tablets in a small amount of water. (Kathy)

Use a toothbrush and a dish detergent that cuts grease to clean your diamonds. They will sparkle. (Vanessa)

Keep your silver jewelry from getting black by placing a piece of camphor in the jewelry box.

I keep an aluminum foil pie pan, box of water softener(calgon, rain drops etc.)and salt container in the bathroom - when I put my sterling silver jewelry on in the morning before work, I first put warm water in the pie pan along with a couple tablespoons of water softener and a couple tablespoons of salt - whisk my jewelry around for a few seconds in the solution and all tarnish is gone!! BEST silver cleaner I have ever used!!!! (pashyo)

To polish jewelry drop 2 alka-seltzer tablets into a glass of water and immerse the jewelry for 2 minutes. (Heather)

Brush jewelry with toothpaste to clean, or use ammonia and wipe with a cotton cloth.

Expensive jewelry should probably be taken to be professionally cleaned.
