Toilet : Running

If the toilet sounds like it is constantly running, lift off the back toilet lid and check to see the plug is not closing correctly. You can apply vaseline to the edges of the plug so that it stays put more securely. (Isaac)

If the toilet sounds like it is constantly running, lift off the back toilet lid and check to see if the chain is stuck under the plug. If it is, either shorten the chain, or bend up the rod a bit.
