Dairy Tips

I always keep a can of evaporated milk on hand in case I run out of my favorite liquid coffee creamer. Just add some extract to the contents of one can, mix, and refrigerate. My favorite is the butter/rum/vanilla from McCormick's. (Bette Devlin)

When you unwrap a stick of butter or margarine, refold the wrapper messy side in and put it back in the fridge. You can use these wax buttered papers later to grease a cookie sheet or cake pan.

Use your cheese slicer to slice sticks of butter. I use it for Grilled Cheese sandwiches. (Mike)

Spray a cheese grater with oil for easy cleanup after grating cheese.
