By

If you want to keep ticks out of your yard, pour sulfur around the perimeter of your yard. Make it about 2-3 inches wide. The ticks will not cross the sulfur. It will need to be redone every couple of weeks. Read container for caution! (Tami)

______
To remove ticks, ease them out with a pair of tweezers. Or use a drop of alcohol to make it let loose. After you remove the tick wash the area well. Use an antiseptic such as iodine on the area.

______
If you are going to be out in the woods or tall grass, it is best to wear long pants, high socks that cover the bottom of the pants, and long sleeves. Be sure to check the body thoroughly before you enter the home. They can even be found in your hair!
