Nov 3, 2006, 18:52

Large Baking apples

3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon flour

marshmellows

Preparation:

Wash and peel apples. Cut in half and core. Place in a 9 X 9 baking dish.

Combine sugar, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Fill the center of each apple with mixture and add a small dot of butter. I then add marshmellows to the center and around the halves of apples. To the baking dish, add just enough water to cover the bottom of the dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degress for about 30 minutes, or until apples are tender.

Baste occasionally with jucies. Serve warm with whipped cream.

Enjoy!
